Tim Curry Joins the Cast of Dragon Age: Origins

Tim Curry

Bioware’s lined up quite the stable of voice actors for Dragon Age: Origins. This morning, the developer announced a handful of the Hollywood talent that’ll be doing voiceover for the fantasy RPG — not the least of which was the legendary Tim Curry.

Mr. Curry is best known for his roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Stephen King’s It, and, more recently, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3. The British actor will be doing the voice of Arl Rendon Howe, one of the villains you’ll encounter in Dragon Age.

Joining Tim Curry will be Kate Mulgrew and Tim Russ of Star Trek: Voyager fame, as well as Claudia Black and Steve Valentine. Most of their roles are still a mystery, but Bioware did reveal that Kate Mulgrew — Captain Janeway on Voyager — will play the part of an immortal witch named Flemeth.
